    Welcome to the 2026 IPAC Pre-Conference Workshop attendee registration!

    The 2026 IPAC Annual Conference will host two (2) workshops on Sunday, July 12, 2026: one morning (8:30 am to Noon) and one afternoon (1:30 pm to 5:00 pm) sessions. Both half-day and full-day registration options are available; please review the workshop options below to make your selection on the registration form.

    Please ensure that you are logged into your IPAC account in order to register at the member registration rate.

    If you are not a member - JOIN IPAC and save!

    To register a group (two or more attendees) and receive one invoice to process, have each person register for the conference, selecting the blue 'Invoice Me' button on the confirmation webpage. Next, send an email to financial@ipacweb.org with a list of names of those who registered and request a group invoice for your organization. The IPAC Financial Officer will create a single invoice for all registrations. When payment has been received, each person's individual invoice will be marked as paid.

    Morning Workshop - 8:30 a.m. to Noon

    Presenters: Sandra Alexander, Ph.D. & Greg Haudek, Ph.D.

    TitleBest Practices for Structured Interviewing

    Description

    The workshop will cover topics that can help attendees gain a deeper understanding of:

    • Structured interviews and best practices for conducting structured interviews
    • Selecting panel raters, common biases and using effective interview techniques
    • The roles and responsibilities of panel members

    The workshop will focus on enhancing interviewing skills through structured methodologies that promote fairness and effectiveness in candidate evaluation. Participants will gain practical tools and techniques to conduct structured interviews that lead to better hiring decisions and a more effective selection process. 

    Presenter Bios:

    Sandra Alexander, Ph.D. received her Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of North

    Texas. She conducts job analyses, develops assessment strategies, validates the use of a variety of pre-employment and leadership assessments, delivers assessment-related training, and conducts large-scale data analyses. 

    She has worked with multiple agencies and organizations to assess competency gaps in the workforce and develop assessments for both selection and promotion.

    Sandra has served as one of the Directors of the IPAC Board since January 2024.


    Greg Haudek, Ph.D. is the director of talent analytics at Hogan Assessments, managing the custom client work within Hogan’s industry-leading data science department. His team is responsible for the full range of customized solutions, including job analyses, job profiling, competency modeling and scoring, criterion validation studies, and team- and safety-climate surveys.

    Greg has more than 20 years of experience in applied settings, where he focused on the development, validation, and implementation of assessments to solve real-world organizational and individual problems.

    Prior to joining Hogan, Greg led assessment-focused teams at several startups where he was responsible for building assessments, reports, and developmental content. His work helped companies use technology to hire at scale across multiple geographic locations and improve the diversity of their candidate pools while reducing bias and improving opportunities for candidates. Greg has also spoken at numerous events, including assessment industry conferences such as SIOP, APA, and IPAC, as well as specialty conferences in the HR technology and legal industries.

    Afternoon Workshop - 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Presenters: Lisa Harpe, Ph.D. & Jone Papinchock, Ph.D.

    TitleEvolving Landscape: Legal Update 2026

    Description

    This workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the most significant legislative and legal developments at both the federal and state level over the past two years, with a focused examination of how these changes impact employee selection, compensation, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the evolving legal landscape and the practical implications these shifts have for their organizations' HR policies and practices. Topics to be covered include the following:

    • DEI practices
    • Governance of the use of Artificial Intelligence in employee selection
    • The future of the Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures (UGESP)
    • Pay Transparency and Pay Equity

    Presenter Bios:

    Lisa Harpe, PhD. is an Industrial Psychologist and Director of HR & EEO Analytics, Principal Consultant in the Employment and Litigation Services Division at DCI.  In this role, Dr. Harpe assists companies in the evaluation of the fairness of their employment practices. This includes statistical and qualitative analysis of hiring, performance appraisal, compensation and promotion practices, as well as coordination with attorneys and employers involved in discrimination litigation or federal audits. She brings 20 years of expertise in industrial psychology and statistical analysis.

    Dr. Harpe joined DCI after 17 years working with the Peoplefluent Research Institute (PRI), part of the Workforce Compliance and Diversity division of Peoplefluent.  Prior to that, she was the first Industrial Psychologist for the North Carolina State Highway Patrol where she implemented, managed and evaluated promotion and performance appraisal systems for the organizations 1,200 officers and validated a new hiring system for Troopers.

    Dr. Harpe holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wake Forest University and a master’s and Doctor of Philosophy degree in psychology from North Carolina State University.


    Jone Papinchock, Ph.D. is the Director of Litigation Services for DCI Consulting. The practice area provides consulting and testifying expert witness services for class action lawsuits alleging gender, age, disability, or race discrimination in employee selection. Jone is consulting on active matters regarding the use of artificial intelligence in tests and other human resources decision making processes. Her work requires in-depth knowledge and application of job analysis, test development and validation, and related human resources policies and procedures.

    Jone received a doctorate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida.

    The 2026 IPAC Annual Conference will be held in Charleston, SC. Discounted rates are available to IPAC Annual Conference registrants. Hotel information and room reservations are available on the conference hotel information page.

    Refunds of conference registration fees are not available; however, you may request that your registration be transferred to a different individual to attend the 2026 conference OR be applied to your future 20267conference registration fee instead. Email conference@ipacweb.org to request a transfer of registration fees BEFORE July 7, 2026. No transfers will be granted after July 7, 2026.
