Join us on September 21, 2022 at 11am (CST) for a FREE IPAC webinar! The Development of Globally Applicable SJTs for 21st Century Competencies will be presented by 2021 IPAC Innovations in Assessment Honorable Mention Recipients Emily Solberg, Ph.D., SHL & Christoph N. Herde, Ph.D., METRO AG.

Session Description: Valid assessment of 21st century competencies that are globally applicable across industries has remained challenging. The goal of the Laureate Professional Assessment (LPA) project was to identify critical 21st century competencies required for new professionals and to develop and validate a global set of Situational Judgment Tests that measure each competency. The LPA has been an ambitious project with participation from over 100,000 students, faculty, professional-level employees, and employers in more than 100 countries. This presentation will summarize the work performed to identify a globally applicable set of professional competencies as well as develop and validate the SJTs. The study authors will share the outcome of the work as well as some of the challenges faced and lessons learned.
