2022 Keynote: TARA BEHREND, PH.D, PURDUE UNIVERSITY

Electronic Surveillance at Work: Words of Advice 

Tuesday, July 19 @ 3:30 p.m.

Tara Behrend is a professor of psychology at Purdue University. She is a Program Director for the Science of Organizations and Future of Work programs at the National Science Foundation. She is a widely cited expert in the use of technology in the workplace, and has published extensively on the topics of AI, surveillance, and big data at work. She directs the Workplaces and Virtual Environments lab at Purdue University (wave-lab.org). She works with a broad range of public and private organizations worldwide. She is currently serving as president-elect of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (siop.org). She is a Fellow of SIOP and the Association for Psychological Science.
