The selectee will serve as a Management & Program Analyst in the Office of Human Resources, Human Resources Research & Assessment Division. Typical work assignments include:
- Developing and implementing HR plans, policies, and programs; and integrating strategic management initiatives in support of HUM's mission and goals. Assuring that all policy, regulatory, and program issuances are properly integrated and are fully supportive of the agency's mission requirements, equal employment opportunity objectives, and various HR laws.
- Researching and evaluating a variety of HR trends and issues. Performing continuous research/evaluation on the utilization of HR program practices to accomplish program objectives and goals.
- Developing and modifying HRR policies and procedures as it pertains to new HR initiatives. Conducting detailed evaluations on the status of HR policies and ensuring that program requirements are incorporated in all aspects of the HR planning processes.
- Providing sound direction, advice, and assistance to senior-level managers of HRR regarding the formulation and implementation of human capital initiatives.
