Innovations in Assessment Award
IPAC is seeking student volunteers to assist with onsite conference activities July 19-22, 2015. The student conference registration fee will be waived for each student that serves a minimum of 4 hours. This is a great opportunity to network with professionals in the I/O and HR field, brainstorm with fellow attendees on research ideas, attend sessions on critical and emerging topics, and engage with our esteemed keynote speakers.

Please mark July 19-22, 2015 on your calendar to join us for interactive pre-conference workshops, informative presentations, engaging social events, and networking opportunities. It’s all about Hot Topics and Cool Solutions at the 2015 IPAC Conference in Atlanta, GA. The Annual Conference offers professionals the opportunity to share their latest research, programs, and ideas with their peers. You are cordially invited to be a part of that IPAC tradition. Anyone may submit a proposal for consideration. IPAC Membership is not required. All topics in the area of personnel assessment, including selection, legal issues, performance management, training & development, and leadership & succession planning are welcome. Proposals must be submitted using IPAC’s online submission system by 5:00 PM PST on January 11, 2015. The International Personnel Assessment Council (IPAC) is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2014 Innovations in Assessment Award will be accepted starting April 14, 2014 through May 9 2014. This award recognizes an individual or a work group for the development of an innovative personnel assessment tool, the use of an existing assessment tool in an innovative manner, or general innovations in assessment policies or procedures which resulted in improved effectiveness, efficiencies, or cost savings. You can nominate someone in our field who has developed an innovative tool or technique. Individuals and work teams are invited to nominate themselves as well.
The Innovations in Assessment Award will be presented at the upcoming IPAC Conference that will be held July 20-23, 2014 in Denver, Colorado. The winner will receive an engraved plaque to commemorate the accomplishment, the opportunity to present a paper about the innovation at the IPAC conference, and a waiver of the conference registration fee for one person. In addition, award recipient(s) will be invited to share their innovation with the IPAC membership in a future issue of the Assessment Council News publication. Nominations should be submitted by 5:00 pm EST May 9, 2014 and no earlier than April 14, 2014. For more information about the award, please e-mail Dr. Bobrow at warren@allaboutperformance.biz.
