Personnel Psychologist GS-0180-13 (Organizational Development) (DEU)
The Personnel Psychologist will serve as the organizational development consultant to the Department and provide hands-on organizational development services, as well as training, to ED’s workforce department-wide. The incumbent will:
Provide organizational development activities such as facilitating strategic planning conversations, assisting organizations with change management efforts, providing conflict management and team building sessions. Consult with management to assess operational deficiencies in order to design and facilitate appropriate organizational development interventions for the improvement and effectiveness of agency programs. Develop coaching and mentoring programs.
Design, develop, coordinate, market, and deliver courses and workshops for leadership and employee development, and ensure that learning is accessible to learners through the use of technology.
Conduct individual assessments which include developing and administering 360 degree surveys and feedback, competency modeling and competency gap analysis.
Administer organizational assessments which include the development, administration, and interpretation of culture and climate surveys, program and course evaluations, and training needs analysis. Conduct focus groups and change management discussions.
