The People Analytics team at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits seeks an experienced Industrial and Organizational Researcher to join us in our journey to discover data-driven insights that help drive workforce growth and initiatives. We are looking for a Senior People Research Consultant to join our team of analytics experts that is passionate about positively impacting the employee experience and life cycle.

Overview

This role will be responsible for applying principles of psychology to workforce initiatives through scientific research and psychometrics. You’ll have the opportunity to embed behavioral science practices through cross collaborations throughout the business through gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting workforce and employee trends, patterns, and feedback channels.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct, analyze, interpret, and present workforce and people initiatives research
  • Develop and implement scalable analytical and behavioral science-based frameworks to innovate and guide talent and workforce strategies
  • Perform people research studies through research design, statistical analysis, and share descriptive and prescriptive recommended actions
  • Build and deploy organizational employee surveys and assessments
  • Conduct job analysis to support organizational assessment initiatives and development.
  • Provide research and recommendations on future data channels and needs through proposals
  • Write articles, white papers, or reports to share research findings and educate others
  • Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
  • Lead projects and tasks from beginning to end
  • Develop and foster client relationships throughout the business

Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with consultants, data scientist, and data engineer on sharing knowledge and partnering on ways to optimize current processes
  • Mentoring teammates
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or PhD in Industrial and Organization Psychology or related field is required
  • 4+ years of experience in behavioral science workplace application
  • 4+ years of experience in R, SPSS, or Python
  • Experience in conducting statistical models such as Structural Equation Models (SEM), Regression, ANOVAs, t-tests, correlation analysis, Factor Analysis, Organizational Network Analysis (ONA)
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge in survey and assessment design, deployment, and analysis
  • Demonstrated proficiencies in conceptualizing, analyzing, and consulting
  • Proficient writing ability to include producing concise, high-level summaries and briefings, and the ability to describe research to technical and non-technical audiences

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
