The Solutions Partner team works with a variety of partners who provide professional services in the talent management industry (e.g., management consulting, executive search). 

A Senior Consultant on the Solutions Partner team is responsible for assisting in the growth, delivery, and support of Hogan solutions partners.  Senior Consultants play a key role in delivering projects and driving continuous value in partner relationships. Effective Senior Consultants identify new opportunities to implement assessments to enhance our partners’ talent management services and to achieve Hogan revenue growth. In addition, as a critical team member of the Solutions Partner team, the Senior Consultant has a direct strategic role in designing, supporting, and executing the Solutions Partner business plan.

Essential Functions

  • Generate profitable revenue by growing and maintaining relationships with current book of business and converting incoming prospects into new business, including diagnosing stakeholder needs, and advising on best practice solutions based on subject matter expertise
  • Manage the delivery of Hogan services and project implementation for selection and leadership development assessment solutions, including interpretation of Hogan assessment results, presenting to new solutions partner clients, and facilitating Hogan private/public certification workshops
  • Mentor and coach consultants and others on solution design, client delivery, relationship management, etc.
  • Contribute to thought leadership on various talent management topics via white papers, social media and presentations at industry/professional conferences

Key Competencies

  • Willingness to learn, understand, and communicate the complete suite of Hogan assessment solutions while adhering to the Hogan standard, and ongoing efforts to increase depth of knowledge about Hogan’s assessments and solutions, competitor products, and consulting practices
  • Ability to diagnose a client’s situation and identify the best way to deliver solutions to effectively meet the needs of new and existing Hogan customers
  • Ability to manage projects by facilitating internal resource coordination, executing work steps, and ensuring expectations are met regarding timelines, deliverables, and billing
  • Excellent phone and in-person presence and spoken/written communications skills with experience in business-to-business consultative selling techniques and direct prospecting
  • Ability to deliver high-quality service in times of heavy workloads and ambiguous situations
  • Ability to credibly facilitate, train, and present to groups of senior executives in large organizations
  • Ability to translate technical understanding of assessments into solutions to business problems
  • Client-centered urgency and responsiveness


  • Minimum of 3-5 years of full-time experience within management consulting (external or internal) and/or talent management
  • Masters degree in IO/psychology (or closely related field), or an MBA  
  • Management consulting and/or international account/channel sales experience preferred
  • Hogan Certification and product knowledge preferred

While performing these duties, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; lift up to 20 pounds. This position routinely uses standard office equipment.
