Morning Session
9:00 am to 11:30 am

The morning session will be an intermediate-level presentation that will help all practitioners design and conduct more powerful and accurate employment interviews. Starting with an understanding of what it takes to succeed in any job, this session will provide the practical tools to design, conduct, and evaluate the responses from the job interview in order to make a more accurate and informed decision about whom to hire.
Lunch
11:30 am – 12:30 pm
When registering, you will choose your preferred lunch option from Cash and Carry Catering. Select from the following: shaved turkey sandwich, shaved ham sandwich, shaved beef sandwich, vegetarian sandwich, or chef salad. All lunches come with sides, beverages and a dessert. Afternoon Sessions
12:30 pm to 3:00 pm
After lunch, attendees will break out into discussion groups. These groups will be led by experienced practitioners and will build on the morning presentation. Attendees will break out into two groups according to their comfort and experience level using structured interviews, and the session will allow groups to discuss their experiences, ask more detailed questions, and brainstorm solutions.
3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Following the breakout sessions, attendees will reconvene for a full-group debriefing. Specific topics and questions that arose from the breakout sessions will be discussed.
City Hall Tour
4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
A tour of Milwaukee City Hall will be available for interested attendees.
